Project Highlights:
Atlantic Concrete Cutting was contracted to seal the longitudinal butt joints between runs of newly applied asphalt. The roadway was being ground up just ahead of our operation. Then, Atlantic applied polymerized joint adhesive to the edges of the road that will mate with the new asphalt to assure a strong, waterproof bond. Following Atlantic was another truck that coated the exposed roadway surface with more adhesive. Lastly, a trio of three more trucks worked in tangent to apply the new asphalt. All these opperations were being done in concert with one another.
