Project Highlights:
Atlantic Concrete Cutting was contracted to saw cut the "Jersey" barriers free from the road surface of I-295. Atlantic used a special machine known as a curb saw to cut the barriers flush with the roadway.
Cutting underneath the barriers.
Removing the barriers with a modified loader.
The road surface just after removal of the barrier wall.
The remaining few inches of barrier are chipped away, leaving a trench.
The trench left by the removal of the barrier is coated with adhesive.
The trench, now filled with asphalt.
The roadway after the modification is complete.
