Highlights: Atlantic Concrete Cutting was contracted to saw and remove a 6’ x 4’ section of the 8” thick concrete roof of the Strawbridges building in Philadelphia, PA. The section was removed in three pieces to make removal more manageable. Each piece was supported by a gantry with a 20 foot chain hoist prior to the final cuts being performed. After each section was cut, it was lowered to the floor below with the chain hoist, and transported to the dumpsters outside using a dolly.
